Corporate entertainment People start missing summer as soon as it ends – most probably because of the countless outdoor activities this season offers. But when summer ends and the last autumn days welcome us with the first snow, a new season begins: with its own lures and opportunities for outdoor entertainment: tobogganing, skiing and something a bit more extreme, snowmobiling for example.

While for many, wintertime is associated with problems on the streets, adrenalin-seekers exult over the snowdrifts and frost – the perfect conditions for extreme entertainment on the snow.

The whole fun and enjoyment of snowmobiling lies in the very construction of the vehicle, its power and speed, and, of course, the opportunity to share this fun with your ‘adrenalin fellows’. Snowmobiles (snow scooters) are motorbikes built specially for riding on the snow. The rear wheel is swapped for a caterpillar track for momentum and the front wheel replaced with a pair of skis for steering. These mobiles are amazingly quick and can carry you on snow, ice or even water. Snow biking is an ideal alternative for the lovers of jeeps as trail mud freezes in winter time.

Being a northern European country with its snowy winters severe enough for lakes and rivers to freeze (especially in January and February), lots of untouched nature, hills and wide expanses of fields rolling into the distance, Lithuania offers exhilarating and thrilling moments in the open. Various clubs organize snowmobiling events on the airfields, lakes a well as safari tours in territories of regional parks where the participants can enjoy thicker snowdrifts and see the most interesting places and objects at the same time. Snowmobiles have found real fans in Lithuania. A couple of snowmobiling enthusiasts are known to have made a crazy tour around the city of Kaunas some time ago. Of course, safe speed was chosen and the route went through suburban territories, less crowded squares and sidewalks covered with snow, but, still, the idea was quite an extraordinary one…

As a group activity, snowmobiling is not only a chance to spend some quality time with friends or family members – it perfectly fits in corporate entertainment programmes or corporate holiday schedules, team building days and incentive travel, the only condition being some snow. And the team’s craving for adrenalin, of course.
