Cosmetic surgery changes not only appearance but also the perception about human middle age. The international group of scientists ACNielsen researched people from 42 different countries who were using the services of cosmetic surgery and whose middle age started only from 60. Douglas McGeorge, president of The British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, says that the age of people who decide to have face and eye plastic operations done is varied. Even those who are 80-year old come to plastic surgery specialists, wishing to make their face look younger.
