For many years, Lithuania has been famous for amber, beautiful women and... zeppelins! Dishes made from potatoes and meat have been popular in Lithuania for more than a century. Traditionally large Lithuanian families of several generations used to get together for weekends or holiday celebrations and make zeppelins. The dish has been the attribute of family reunions; its preparation requires a lot of love and accord, and the dish itself is tasty and filling. The traditional Lithuanian dish zeppelin was named after the biggest airship Zeppelin constructed in 1900 by the German aircraft manufacturer Ferdinand von Zeppelin. In its shape, the airship, which changed the history of aviation, looks quite like the dish. If you want to experience Lithuania, you have to learn its customs, language, history, cuisine and - it goes without saying – the secret of cooking zeppelins… but how? All you need is the recipe, required ingredients and somebody to help you… The aims of the game:
- Induct into Lithuanian traditions, culture, history and cuisine.
- Increase knowledge and tolerance to the changes of environment.
- Boost the sense of team spirit in the company.
- Provoke creativity and flexibility while making decisions in simple situations.
- Train to relax and trust the team.
The course of the game: every team has to fulfil 10 different tasks related with the Lithuanian folklore, traditions, customs, culinary culture and making zeppelins. The winner is the team which fulfils the tasks right, quickly, creatively. The game is over when all 10 teams successfully fulfil the tasks. And while the zeppelins are boiling, every team is performing on the stage, where each has to show what they have learned about Lithuanian customs. Following the performances, teams get prizes and souvenirs. After the rewards, participants taste traditional Lithuanian dish zeppelins... Methods: traditional Lithuanian games; songs; dances; food and drinks; knowledge of history. Notes:- Game duration: 4-5 hours;
- Recommended number of participants: 50-150;
