₤ 99 + VAT (18%) per person Since ancient times, Lithuania has been known as the land of amber, often called „the Lithuanian gold“. Yet 13 thousand years ago, people living in the area of present Lithuania used amber in making various articles and jewellery. The most famous work of art made from amber, also called the Eighth World Wonder, is the Amber Room. The legendary room was forged in 1701-1709 in Prussia (historical kingdom on the south-eastern coast of the Baltic Sea) and given as a diplomatic gift for an unexpected visit by the King of Prussia to the Russian Tsar Peter I. The walls and ceilings of the room were all decorated with artistically worked amber. Unfortunately, the Amber Room was lost during the World War II. There have been many treasure hunters and art collectors from all over the world who have tried to find it, but, up to this day, no one really knows where the Amber Room has gone... The goals of the game: - improve adaptation skills in the ever changing work environment;
- analyse the processes of decision-making;
- boost team spirit;
- promote creativity and prompt a better understanding of the importance of teamwork.
The course of the game: while dealing with logical, historical and sportive tasks, participants have to find and collect 27 boxes hidden in the territory (in each of them, there is a part of the Amber Room) and bring them to the appointed place. The winner is the team which finds and brings as many boxes as possible. A game followed by team building professionals’ comments is ideal when boosting the sense of the team spirit during internal corporate events, specialist qualification seminars or as part of incentive travel programmes. Notes: - Game duration: 4-5 hours;
- Recommended number of participants: 50-150;
- The price is preliminary. The event can be arranged depending on your wishes and intended budget, i.e. the price may be raised or reduced.
